This year I have been leaning into Real Estate and Holiday Property photography, and loving it. I have been photographing so many beautiful homes in Forster, Tuncurry, Hallidays Point, Taree and surrounding areas. I really enjoy the challenge of making every home shine and look it’s best in the photos I capture.

Professional Real Estate and Property Photography is more important now more than ever, and it’s my focus

Because real estate shopping often starts online, the need for quality images has become really important. It has meant that this area of my business has really taken off. Most people like to narrow down properties on realestate.com.au before they connect with a real estate agent, especially since Covid. So getting the buyers attention, and having them click through to your property, is important more than ever.

So for me, it’s time to wave goodbye to wedding and portrait photography for now. I’ve got so many great memories from all the people photography I’ve done over the years. Working with couples and families at such important times in their lives. But it’s definitely great to spend more time with my people on the weekends, and still enjoy doing what I love.

It’s great to work with some of the local real estate agents in the area. To provide them with images that showcase the properties they are advertising. I also photograph holiday properties, including for private listings. Often people get in touch with me to take photos for them so that they can advertise their holiday home on online platforms like Airbnb. The perk is that I get to enjoy the beautiful views that come with the job, which I really don’t mind at all.

Engagement Photography in Forster

As the sun dipped down at Burgess Beach, we had the perfect afternoon for engagement photography in Forster.This gorgeous couple celebrated their engagement with a photo session at the beach. Engagement photography in Forster at the beach is a relaxed, fun hour of your life where we wander around the rocks and the sand, finding beautiful pockets of nature with lovely light for you to get cuddly amongst, so I can capture you together as the beautiful moments happen.

I think it’s such a great idea to capture this time in your relationship, before all those photos in the white dress on the big day. It’s such a great chance to get relaxed in front of my camera, and see how things unfold naturally, without too much posing. It’s reassuring to know that you will enjoy your wedding photos down the track, when all that planning eventuates into the wedding day… finally!

Leah and Dean’s Taree Wedding

Leah and Dean’s Taree Wedding

When I first met with Leah and Dean, they told me they wanted wedding photography that was authentic to who they are as a couple. They wanted photos that express their love and companionship in a down to earth way. They wanted to feature locations that are sentimental to them. Big smiles from me. There’s nothing more I love than photographing couples at places that mean something to them, and having them interact naturally so I can capture who they are. That’s part of why I love my job because it’s always different. I certainly don’t want a carbon copy of the last wedding I photographed. I want you to walk away with meaningful memories that are creative and beautiful, but personal. So this was perfect. Leah and Dean were married at Bowers Cafe. A Taree wedding, followed by photos with family on the grounds at the cafe. The ceremony was taken indoors because of wet weather. But they still enjoyed the beautiful country setting, as the ceremony opened up to the outdoors.

Leah and Dean chose to have photos taken in some beautiful locations both on and near their property just outside of Taree, which made it special for them. They took a walk through the most gorgeous tree plantation that I immediately fell in love with. The sun came out with perfect timing so that it could shine through the trees on queue. This made for some beautiful moments for Leah and Dean to enjoy each others company on their special day. This country setting was only made more beautiful at sunset when the clouds lit up in magical colours.

Did you know I also do Holiday House Photography? I recently photographed this home at Boomerang Beach, with it’s beautiful leafy coastal vibe. The owner needed some fresh photography to enhance the online listing for this home. So now this eco style, architecturally designed home can really shine with photography that aims to capture the appeal of the home- it’s light, bright, spacious, holiday feel, being close proximity to the beach and reserve. You can make a booking for this lovely home here. I really enjoy working with the owner to highlight the unique features of each home, so that when people are looking online at the property they can really picture themselves there, enjoying themselves in the space and making the mot of what the home has to offer. A listing really stands out when it’s holiday appeal shines.

Kings Creek Retreat- Yolanda and Matt

It was the perfect day for Yolanda and Matt’s country wedding. I arrived at their wedding venue at Kings Creek Retreat in Krambach, which is not far inland from Forster. Looking around I was very excited about the green countryside that we could explore later when having photos with the bridal party. Yolanda and Matt had the most beautiful wedding amongst the trees as they said their vows surrounded by their family and friends.

Their wedding photography was made that little bit extra special when the venue allowed us to take their gorgeous horse for a stroll. I can’t wait to have more photos to show the lovely couple soon, but for now this was their sneak peek with more to come soon!

Family Photography in Forster

This gorgeous family made the most of their time on holidays and booked me for some Family Photography in Forster. A portrait session in Forster is so much fun, because of all the great beach locations. And kids just love the beach, right? So there are no shortage of smiles when I show up.

Family Photography In Forster

Outdoor portraits allow kids the space and freedom to enjoy the session, and not feel the pressure of constant posing. They can be climbing over rocks, running on the sand and looking at shells in between and even whilst I’m taking photos. Letting moments unfold naturally followed by a little direction is what I’m all about.

Keeping them dry for photos is my forte… that is, until we want them to get wet of course (because it’s pretty cute as well).

Wedding Photography in Hallidays Point

Lately I’ve had the chance to photograph some beautiful weddings in my local area. I love the opportunity to do Wedding Photography in Hallidays Point because we are so spoilt with gorgeous coastal scenery. The beaches, but also the green paddocks and beautiful trees. I wanted to share one of the weddings I’ve photographed recently here in Hallidays Point so you can see what I’ve been up to lately, and share the joy of these fantastic people I’ve been capturing memories for.

Lauren and Mitchell made the most of the stunning view from Black Head headland where they had their ceremony, followed by photos with the bridal party at some nearby locations I had picked out for them. I just love the gorgeous big fig trees that are scattered around the local area- so I was really pleased we stopped to have some photos near one of my favourite trees. We finished up at Black Head beach with photos at the rock pools as the sun was on it’s way down, before they joined family and friends nearby at Black Head surf club to continue celebrating for their reception.

Such a gorgeous wedding day, and such a pleasure to get to know these lovely people and capture memories for them. Jeraine and Nathan’s Green Cathedral Wedding

Jeraine and Nathan’s Green Cathedral Wedding was full of beautiful, dreamy moments that I have to share. It all started when I saw her in that dress, in that window light… so stunning! I could have photographed Jeraine getting ready all day! Eventually it was time to get her to the ceremony where Nathan was waiting to catch a glimpse of his bride.

The Green Cathedral has to be one of the most romantic places to say your vows, and was the perfect setting. We made the most of the beautiful palm surroundings and captured some couple photos before we headed off with the bridal party. Photos in the trees beside the lake made for some lovely relaxed photos with the bridal party. I gave them plenty of time to catch up and enjoy themselves. Being a little adventurous always makes for great photos. So we just had to put the newly weds in a lovely paperbark tree on the shore where I captured plenty of natural and romantic moments for them.

Photos near the local jetty’s were our next stop for photos. Just a stones throw away from the reception venue at Hamilton’s Oyster Bar in Tuncurry. I was in love with the magical twilight I was given as the sun went down over their reception venue. What a gorgeous day!

Family Portrait Photography in Gloucester

Chantal asked me to do some Family Portrait Photography with her little tribe in Gloucester recently, and I was so spoilt with the perfect Spring afternoon to meet them for their portrait session. I was also spoilt because Gloucester is a town with such beautiful scenery. It was like a countryside dream! I recently photographed Chantal and Dan’s wedding in Gloucester. But because wedding days are fleeting, they decided to book me for a family shoot so they could have more time to get relaxed photos of the three of them together. Such a great idea.

With golden light streaming through the trees by the river- I almost considered trading my sea change for a tree change in the country. Gorgeous Kirra had her cheeky smiles out for me, and couldn’t have been happier to find pink boots on the end of her feet. It was such a pleasure to photograph this beautiful family.

Family Photography at Seal Rocks

You know those beautiful winter afternoons we’ve been having that are more like spring? It was on one of those perfect afternoons that I had the pleasure of meeting this lovely extended family. Their whole tribe were enjoying a weekend away at Seal Rocks to celebrate a 70th birthday. And I just loved being the surprise birthday gift!! So I didn’t jump out of a cake- but my photo session was a lovely surprise and what a great way to make the most of all being together. I know that it can be so crazy trying to coordinate family getting together like this- so it was such a joy to be able to capture these memories as a gift that I’m sure will be treasured. And lucky me- Family photography at Seal Rocks is such a dream because it’s just breathtaking, right?!

Seeings they were staying at the lighthouse, it was the perfect location for us to capture family moments, and the connection between this lovely bunch. The views are just amazing from this vantage point. So I was happily snapping away at moments as the light became more and more golden. Kids roaming around happily on the grass between shots, and adults happily enjoying a glass of champagne. And those candid shots of kids being kids are just as precious after all, right? So I made sure to capture some of those.

I think it’s such a great idea to capture family time away with a portrait photography session, and it’s definitely becoming popular.
