Baby Alexis- At home Baby Photography in Forster

Time to share some of my recent work with you! I did some baby photography in Forster with Baby Alexis on Friday- and I was just swooning over her- isn’t she sweet? It didn’t take me long to get to know her charming ways, with her arms reaching out in creative ways throughout the session, lol.

Did you know that I offer at home baby photography in Forster, Taree, Hallidays Point and surrounding areas? This little girl showed that you can sometimes get away with a shoot at one month old- she was just so lovely and tiny! They are never this tiny again, right? So it’s such a precious time to record. Even if you miss booking a session within the first few weeks because, well- the whirlwind of having a new baby was chaotic and you are thinking “was I really meant to think about baby photos amongst the craziness of having a baby?!”- It’s totally ok. An at home newborn session actually works really well for babies who are slightly older because my style is more natural and not so posed, so I can go with the flow.

Engagement Photography Session

Jenni-Lea and Josh- Engagement Photography Session

The autumn trees held on to their leaves just long enough so that I could have an engagement photography session with Jenni-Lea and Josh amongst the Autumn goodness. This has to be a new favourite for me- aren’t the trees magnificent? It was fun wandering around this beautiful driveway with these two, capturing their connection and getting to know their cheeky ways.

An engagement photography session is a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. I love to get to know each couple and help them relax and enjoy the shoot, so that I can capture their natural connection, so that the photos speak of their relationship in an authentic way. Forster Wedding Photography

There are some beautiful weddings that I need to catch you up on! Forster wedding photography is so much fun because there are so many beautiful locations to choose from. I have had the pleasure of photographing some gorgeous wedding days locally, with some gorgeous people. Such a tough job being in the business of documenting love. I get to have all the fun.

Katie and Craig were married with a beautiful ceremony on the grass overlooking the tanks in Forster near Pebbly Beach. It was just magical watching the dolphins cruise by as they said their vows. They were a little worried about the forecast of rain, but it simply made for the most perfect moody sky while they were having photos together. We had photos near the Tanks and then made our way to Burgess Beach for more photos with the bridal party.

Jaire and Peter- Forster Wedding Photography

Jaire and Peter were married at the Green Cathedral in Pacific Palms as the sun made it’s way down to the horizon behind them over the lake. It was such a privilege to capture these moments for them. Of not only their love for each other but their love for their family who were such a special part of their day. I stole them away for some romantic sunset photos by the lake. Afterwards they continued to celebrate with family and friends at The Reef in Forster (one of my fave venues!).

These are just some of the beautiful people who have trusted me with capturing the fleeting moments of their wedding day recently. It is such a joy to be part of this happy time in peoples lives. I love capturing images that remind them of the way they felt. The nerves, the joy, the love and fun of it all.

Newborn Photography

Meet baby Lincoln. Isn’t he just divine? I had the pleasure of doing an in-home Newborn Photography session with him, and his whole family last week (yes, including the puppy). I am offering in-home newborn photography in Forster, Taree, Hallidays Point and surrounding areas.

In-home newborn photography sessions are my new favourite, and offer the chance to stay comfy and relaxed at home with your new bub, whilst I capture all the baby goodness. I love to capture the relationship connection between baby and his/her parents, and siblings… (even the furry kind of siblings- as you see here!) in the natural home environment. It’s about connection and love. Whilst I pose the baby a little, I keep it very natural. You end up with timeless images that speak of your family.

In-Home Newborn Photography

Contact me to arrange a newborn photography session for when your baby is due. Newborn photo sessions are best within the first two weeks of baby arriving, while they are tiny and sleepy. I’d love to have a chat with you about what usually happens during a newborn session and answer any questions you may have.

Wedding Photography in Pacific Palms

I just love the chance to photograph weddings in the beautiful Pacific Palms area. Wedding Photography in Pacific Palms is so much fun and there are so many gorgeous locations to choose from for photos. I recently photographed a wedding for Jade and Matt with Allure Film Productions. I just have to share some of the photos with you!

Blueys Beach was a magical location for the girls to get ready, at a beach house right on the sand. The girls looked stunning in their ice blue dresses, don’t you think?

Wedding Photography in Pacific Palms

Jade and Matt exchanged vows with family and friends in a picturesque location, on the grass beside the lake at their reception venue, Sundowner Tiona.

A convoy of four wheel drives led us to Janeys Beach for some photos with the bridal party. Followed by some romantic moments on the jetty at Elizabeth Beach. I love the adventurous spirit of these two! There were no limits when it came to photos with the bridal party, so some amazing moments unfolded. It was such a privilege to capture the joy and affection of this beautiful couple. I get so much joy from seeing the personality and life of each couple come alive in their wedding photos, just as with Jade and Matt. Enjoy this glimpse into their wedding day!

Green Cathedral Wedding

Green Cathedral Wedding- Joanne and Roy

Joanne and Roy were married on Saturday 25th February 2017, with an intimate Green Cathedral wedding ceremony surrounded by close family and friends. With their gorgeous children celebrating alongside them as their bridal party, it was a beautiful thing to witness and capture. The joy and love that they share amongst them was easy to see from behind the camera. We went from the Green Cathedral in Tiona to One Mile Beach in Forster for some photos with the bridal party. We stopped briefly along the way for Joanne and Roy to attach their special lock to the fence at Bennetts Head Lookout. Such a great local tradition!

After some fun with the bridal party and plenty of kissing photos just to annoy the kids, we arrived back at the Colonel’s Cafe on the lake in Forster and they continued celebrating with their guests at this magical location. It truly was a pleasure to photograph this special time in their lives- enjoy the sneak peak!

With lots of beautiful views and surroundings within the Hallidays Point area, it makes it easy to make it look like a gorgeous place to live- because it is! Maternity Photography in Forster

I’m in love with Maternity Photography sessions, so I have to share some of my recent work with you. Pregnancy is such an amazing and beautiful time, that only lasts a short time (even if it feels like an eternity near the end!). So I feel very privileged to capture this time in people’s lives, and I was so pleased to do some Maternity Photography in Forster recently for a few lovely ladies, who received the photography session with me as a gift voucher at their baby showers. Such a great idea!

Maternity Photography in Forster- Burgess Beach

The rocks near the water at Burgess Beach in Forster were the perfect location for my shoot with Vanessa and her partner. I really enjoyed capturing some lovely relaxed shots in the soft afternoon light that celebrate her gorgeous baby bump.

Maternity Photography in Forster- Forster Keys

Leah and her partner were keen to have photographs at Forster Keys because it’s a location where they like to spend time walking with their dogs- and I always love to use locations that are meaningful to people. As the sun was going down we captured some photos amongst the paperbark trees near the waters edge.

Family Portraits at Black Head Beach

Happy New Year! What a lovely way to start the year, with some Family Portraits at Black Head beach. Recently I’ve had lots of families make the most of being together during the holidays, by organising a portrait session with me. Danielle and her extended family were holidaying at Black Head- so we met near the rocks for some relaxed family portraits. It was a lovely chance to capture the whole family together, as well as the smaller family groups and couples within the family.

The rain cleared with perfect timing for our shoot, even leaving a brief glimpse of a rainbow which we made the most of- of course! The kids loved exploring the rocks near Black Head beach, and it made for a lovely location in the soft afternoon light.

So if you have family coming to visit at Hallidays Point, Forster or Tuncurry- make the most of your family getting together over the holidays, and organise a portrait session with me. It also makes for a great gift. So many mums tell me that they just don’t get the time to organise family photos, so they rarely happen! Do yourself a favour and organise it ahead of time so that you can capture what’s truly important- photos of the ones you love, while your tribe is all together. Memories are so precious!
